Covid-19: New age perspectives to face collective hysteria.

What a pretentious title. But come on, I couldn't resist after several hours of mental diarrhea trying to convince myself that the lockdown in my house, the lack of vitamin K, the social isolation that I already had because of my social anxiety and depression, the fear of dying let's say since I am asthmatic and therefore a person at risk, could be beneficial and positive for my life, instead of a disgrace as I had been thinking a few weeks ago. When all my drowning slapping plans went to shit (I shit on Retrograde Mercury: D).

If you are one of those people who do not believe in pseudo-science, astrology, paganism, or other occultism (understood as any practice and knowledge outside the Western dogmas that we consume with cereal in the morning), then you can leave to read, because everything I'm going to mention here has tons of it, or to stay and use your critical thinking developed after long nights of jacking off on xnxx and differential equations to get something positive out of this that will serve to justify the miserable facts of our lives, fuck it.

The new age is a way of calling the astrological age of Aquarius, an era in which humanity will enter an era of change and evolution of being, where humanity must learn to coexist in world peace and harmony. Individuals born in this era are said to be characterized by a search for spirituality, an uncontrollable desire to be authentic, free, and to be themselves, which paradoxically coincides with many world events since the 1960s, where he believes the era began. Let's see, that astrologers do not agree and I only tell them what I know. What events? Stonewall, the struggles for minority rights, humanitarian movements, gender ideology, new era feminism, legal abortion, fight for freedom of belief, “transnationalisms”, international treaties, armed conflicts and civil revolts in Latin America, the internet and social networks, and a long etc etc etc.

And the last wave my friends, from this New Age, we are the millennials. Although you may not like how it sounds due to the ridicule of the term by other unwary millennials and boomers, if you grew up with wal-kman and 8-bit video games and you're already a millennial, you got screwed. Millennials are more aware of climate change, we are interested in knowing and exploring the world, learning from other cultures and ways of thinking, we are aware that health is very important, you will see them romanticizing physical activity and professing a love-hate towards vegans / vegetarians. We will adopt all that neo-hippie by 2020. In the last 10 years, the practice of yoga has become more popular and Buddhism and “Induism” have spread to geographical locations in which I would never have imagined they would have reach.

We will seek to connect with our roots. With our psyche, and with ourselves, but at the same time with all the world problems inherited from the unconscious boomers who left us with a shitty future. Tests? , Post-war economic crisis (The Great Depression of 29), Cold War, and another long list of etc. There are also greater social demands to have a perfect life, our lives will be hung in showcases on social networks like pieces of meat in a butcher shop. Due to technological facilities we will be more dependent on stimuli and immediate gratification causing anxieties and a constant struggle with ourselves.

Having a house, a car, a career, getting married, having children, a golden in the garden would look good, right? Travel the world, exercise, grill with coworkers on Saturday. Make love to your partner, pay the mortgage, get the best life insurance ... if you do not have all this before 30, surely you are a failure or you do not try hard enough ... or that is what they have done to me believe ... And then a pandemic comes, we are unemployed, the world population is suddenly decreasing, resources are scarce, people are killing themselves by groceries in supermarkets ... What kind of book by Stephen King is this ??? ! Who would imagine Europe being more devastated than Africa?

After this scenario, we will have fantasized more than ever about stopping time to rest, to think, to do "Hard Reset" (I swear that someday I will write a book with this title). Every pig gets his time. The time had to come when humanity would pay the karmic debt that we collectively carry as a species. This lethargy has been just and necessary. And I already told you why. Here I am not trying to say that humanity is paying for the bad things it did, if you thought that before allowing me to explain hit yourself in the crotch, you fool. Karma is the consequence of actions, good or bad. Not taking a decision or action is a decision per se which generates karma. That's right, letting yourself go with the flow and evasive behavior generates karma. It is the way in which life sits us in a chair, ties us and places our shadow in front of us so that we can seduce it, not so that we can overcome it, but rather recognize it as part of us, assume it and deconstruct it of so that it becomes a strength rather than a weakness.

When this is over, we will undoubtedly be more sensitive people, who will value more the company of the people, the warm talks, the people will have become more altruistic, more caring. Social interactions will be less forced, interactions that we would not have had if we had had the option to choose. Because there is no money that can buy your health, there is no richer country that can deal with this pandemic, because fear and uncertainty have been emotions that have united us as a species, crossing national borders. I remember when I heard a Venezuelan on the bus talking that toilet paper was not available in Venezuela. Really? Pfft. Thank goodness we live here. That I was going to imagine that this year I would end up cleaning my ass with wet wipes.

We will also value loneliness and company better, because in strides we have become more empathetic. What new age does all this have? Well, I will leave you some of the teachings of the new age:

-Be Kind and Generous.

-Look at people with compassion and love: When you manage to handle this point you will stop taking everything so personal. (I know, it's rare for a millennial to say it when they nickname us the crystal generation.)

-Breathe, take a deep breath and breathe again, draw mandalas when you don't know what to do.

-Focus on the here and now. It is the only time where you have control of the situation. Stop thinking about an uncertain future and build it now.

            - Eat healthy, do sports, exercise.

            - Spend time with family and friends, they are more important than your work.

-Take risks, life is too short to waste it for fear. "The decisions do not determine your life, only a part of it."

            -Use sunscreen.

            -Respect the beliefs of others.

            -You do charity and volunteering.

-Recycle and go donate blood too.

-Don't assume, ask. Most of the discussions are due to misunderstandings.

-Take care of the animals and be kind to them. Be a responsible owner and do not abandon them to their fate.

-Respect the entire LGBTQ + range. Love is universal, it is not an isolated feeling that only heterosexual people feel.

-Love yourself. Take care of your body and mind. Don't rape him with junk food and thoughts.

-Learn new things. It is never too late, you just lack willpower.

-Some periods of chastity are necessary to convert sexual energy into creative energy. No one has died from not catching.

-Do not abuse substances whose effects cloud your consciousness. The joint does not lead you to enlightenment (it is just delicious and already).

-Don't be so hard on yourself

-Take advantage of this period of introspection to do what you had so long postponed, and become the best version of yourself.

-Change habits, environments, remove from your life and modify what you don't like, do a hard reset!

Finally, I want to tell you, once and for all, take charge of your life and stop avoiding decisions and responsibilities, because unlearned karmic lessons are repeated cyclically. "Because it always happens to me ..." learn to read your subconscious between the lines. Deep down you know the answer, only you're too stupid to take the bull by the horns. In short, don't be like me. This is our test as a species, don't screw up, use a quarantined condom, I don't want another baby boomers wave!

 Namaste fuckers!
